Academic session : 1st July to 15th May.

Summer Vacation : 16th May to 30th June.

Working Days : Six days a week except Second Saturday of the month.

Admission Process

Students, seeking admission in Elementary Courses (Foundation and Diploma (Pass) Course) or in Advance Course of Diploma (Hons.) of Kathak Kendra, may apply in the prescribed form by the given dates. Application forms may be obtained from the office of the Kathak Kendra from 1st week of June onwards on payment of Rs. 100/- in cash. For delivery by post, a bank draft for Rs.150/- payable at New Delhi must be sent in the name of Director, Kathak Kendra. For any other enquiry Kendra may be contacted on 011¬23388681, 23385065.

Application form can be downloaded the website as well, in case Application form downloaded from the website, a bank draft for Rs. 100/- payable at New Delhi must be sent alongwith the form at the time of submission.

The received application forms are verified and elligible applicants are invited for the admission test which has a practical performance followed by an interview. Applicants thus qualifying in the admission test are admitted to the appropriate training course purely on merit basis and availability of seats.

Admission Test results are declared by last week of June. The results may be obtained either from the Notice Board displayed at the Kendra office or from the website.

Students selected for Advance course of Kendra and for Elementary Course of Kendra's Centres, will have to complete all formalties related to admission till 15th July. Regular classes will start from 16th July onwards. "Hostel stay has been made mandatory for outstation students from session 2011-2012"
