JNMDA has a small documentation cell. They have documented programmes of the Production Unit, new dance-dramas, annual festivals, Foundation Day Celebrations, students activities, etc. They now have appx. 15,000 photographs, 1,200 hours of audio and 100 hours of video recording in their archieves. The most important audio/video recordings are of the dance-dramas of the Production Unit and Annual festival of the Academy.
