A two and half month long workshop for Young Theatre Artists was organized at Sanskriti Kendra Anandgram, New Delhi from 16 June to 29 August 2008 and covered the Second phase of the Akademi’s Theatre Workshop Programme Programme for the Central Zone. 30 participants had been selected from first phase of Young theatre Artists workshops (Central Zone), held at Uttar Prdesh, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Only 23 young theatre artists between the age of 21 to 35 years responded and joined the workshop from different parts of Central Zone – Madhya Pradesh – 8, Uttar Pradesh – 8 and Chhattisgarh – 7.
