Young Theatre Artistes Workshop, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh - 3 July to 1 August 2006

Under the scheme of Assistance to Young Theatre Artistes, the Akademi has initiated a training programme in which four to five workshops are organized zone-wise every year. Under this programme, the Akademi, in collaboration with Ustad Alauddin Khan Sangeet Evam Kala Akademi, Bhopal organized a residential workshop for young theatre artistes of Madhya Pradesh from at Pachmarhi. This was the first workshop in the Central Zone. A total of 145 applications was received: 25 young theatre artistes were selected to participate in the workshop.
