Nritya Sangam, fourth in the series of dance festivals started by the Akademi in 2004, was presented in association with Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy from 19 to 23 December 2006 at the JNMDA Auditorium, Imphal.

The festival aimed to showcase the spectrum of different forms of Indian dance. Solo performances were presented by leading practitioners of Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Manipuri, Odissi, Kuchipudi, Kathakali, Mohiniattam, Chhau and Sattriya dance.
Previous events in the Nritya Sangam series have been held at Guwahati, Raipur and Nagpur in 2004, 2005 and 2006 respectively. The programme follows:
