SANGEETOTSAV
A festival of young classical musicians Sangeetotsav
was presented by the Akademi in collaboration with
Ustad Allauddin Khan Sangeet Akademi, Bhopal, from
27 to 30 September 2001 at Bhopal. The festival featured
musicians from Jaipur, Chennai, Thane, Guwahati, Mumbai,
Delhi, Bhubaneswar and Thiruvananthapuram.

Nrityotsav
A festival of promising young dancers, Nrityotsav
was held in Goa in collaboration with the Kala Academy,
Goa from 29 to 31 August 2001 at the Dinanath Mangeshkar
Kalamandir Audiotorium, Panaji. The festival featured
young artistes various states of India. The programme

Sangeet Narityotsav
For the first time in Sikkim, the Akademi organised
a Sangeet Nrityotsav 9 -11 October 2001 at Gangtok
in collaboration with the Government of Sikkim, which
was inaugurated by the Governor of Sikkim. Eminent
musicians and dancers participated in the festival.
