Documentation Room

For collection of the information and processing of the already available written material in text form pertaining to the archival holdings in the Archives an exclusive Documentation Room has been made in the Documentation Unit on 3rd floor. Besides the documentation officials doing the written documentation work, some scholars are also working on the project of identifying the archival material and providing detailed information after listening / previewing. The work of feeding the data into the computer,
was suspended as the capacity of hard disc was exhausted. Subsequently, a Double Memory DDR RAM 512 X 2 MB, 1 GB Server has been installed in the Documentation Room for storing information for which two Data Entry Operators will be engaged.
