of Muthuswamy Dikshitar (1715–1835) — second of the trinity
of Carnatic music — on the pattern of the Thyagaraja Kriti Sangraha.
All 31 kritis are in different ragas, and in Adi, Rupakam, Mishra Chapu,
Khanda Ekam, and Chaturashra Jhampa talas. The selection of kritis is
by Semmangudi Sreenivasa Iyer, S. Srinivasa Rao, Ashok Ranade and Padma
Rampachari. The book carries introductions to Muthuswamy Dikshitar’s
